A delightful example of mid-century Finnish design, the Heluna milk pitcher was produced by Arabia Finland in the 1950s. The model, designed by Kaarina Aho, features a charming bull illustration by artist Anja Juurikkala (1923–2015)—one of Arabia’s most beloved graphic designers.

The Heluna series (1955) includes four earthenware pitchers, each decorated with the same whimsical bull motif in different colors: yellow, brown, green, and blue. This version, in sunny yellow, pairs playful illustration with practical form, featuring a wide spout and comfortable handle for everyday use.
