Nordisk Home will carry a wide variety of Nordic home goods, many of which are one offs. From new to vintage, we pride ourselves in curating UNIQUE products from some of the most popular Nordic brands. We make the experience of finding and buying these unique products – SIMPLE. No need to search and travel to market places, vintage shops or boutiques. Nordisk Home does all the scavenging, bartering and traveling to acquire these UNIQUE products. We are passionate about the simplicity of Nordic design and how they embody simple, clean and functional living. We believe that any home can benefit from this Nordic touch.
Swedish But Not
Nordisk Home was born from an unexpected journey. In 1996, I traveled to Stockholm, Sweden, knowing little more than Absolut Vodka and IKEA. What was supposed to be a six-month stay turned into eight transformative years. I learned Swedish, completed a postgraduate degree in a Swedish-speaking program, met my husband, and eventually became a proud Swedish citizen.
With my Swedish last name, Berglund, but clearly not a Swedish appearance—Filipino by heritage, 5’1 with black hair and brown eyes—I embraced both worlds. I fell in love with the man and with his country: its traditions, food, culture, and above all, its design. FIKA became my favorite ritual, and Scandinavian design became the heart of my home.
Out of this passion came Nordisk Home. Here, I curate a thoughtful mix of new and pre-loved treasures from iconic Nordic brands. Each piece tells a story of simplicity, function, and beauty—the values that define Scandinavian living.
At Nordisk Home, my goal is simple: to make Nordic design accessible, authentic, and personal. Every item is chosen with care, packaged with love, and delivered with the hope that it brings a little piece of the Nordic lifestyle into your home.
