From new to vintage, we pride ourselves in curating UNIQUE products from some of the most popular Nordic brands. We make the experience of finding and buying these unique products – SIMPLE. No need to search and travel to market places, vintage shops or boutiques. Nordisk Home does all the scavenging, bartering and traveling to acquire these products. We are passionate about the simplicity of Nordic design and how they embody simple, clean and functional living. We believe that any home can benefit from this Nordic touch.
Swedish But Not
Nordisk Home was born from an unexpected journey.
In 1996, I traveled to Stockholm, Sweden, knowing little more than Absolut Vodka and IKEA. What was meant to be a six-month stay became eight life-changing years. I learned Swedish, completed university, met my husband, became a citizen, and began my career in marketing.
But more importantly, I fell in love—with the people, the culture, and the everyday beauty of Scandinavian life.
Fika became a cherished ritual. Candlelight filled dark winter evenings. And Scandinavian design—simple, functional, and timeless—became the heart of my home.
Over the years, I began collecting meaningful pieces from iconic Nordic brands. Each object reflected the values I had come to love: quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and effortless beauty.
