  • All sales at Nordisk Home are final. Because our collection includes many unique pre-loved items, we do our best to describe each piece honestly—including any signs of wear. We’re unable to accept returns, exchanges, or issue credits, but we’re always happy to answer questions before you order to make sure it’s the right fit for your home.

  • Although extremely rare, Nordisk Home is not responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during the shipping process. Once your order has been shipped, you agree and understand that Nordisk Home is not liable for any direct or indirect damages incurred as a result.

In the unlikely event that your package is lost or damaged in transit, we will support you by providing all available tracking details, shipping documentation, and any additional information required by the shipping carrier to assist in your claim or search.

We recommend that you carefully inspect your package upon arrival and contact the shipping provider immediately if any issues are found.

Thank you for your understanding, and please don't hesitate to Contact Us with
any questions or concerns regarding your shipment.

  • Most of our items are one-of-a-kind, which means that once a product is sold out, we are typically unable to restock it. These pieces are carefully sourced and often
    unique, making them truly special.

We encourage customers to act quickly if they see something they love, as availability is limited. If you're looking for something similar to a sold-out item, feel free to reach out—we may be able to suggest alternatives or keep an eye out for you during our next sourcing trip.

  • A preloved treasure, is an item that has been previously owned and carries light scratches and small marks that speak to its history and charm. These gentle signs of use are part of what makes it unique—adding character and authenticity that new items simply don’t have. Despite these surface details, the piece remains in very good condition and is ready to be enjoyed for many more years. Perfect for those who value sustainable living and design with a story.

Some of our preloved treasures arrive in such pristine condition, you’d never know they were previously owned. These items have been gently handled and show no visible marks, scratches, or wear. We select them for their flawless appearance and enduring quality — offering you the charm of a preloved piece with the confidence of a like-new purchase.

    • Vintage: Generally refers to items that are at least 20 years old but less than 100 years old. These
pieces often reflect the trends, craftsmanship, and design aesthetics of their time. For example, a 1960s Scandinavian glass vase is considered vintage.
    • Antique: Refers to items that are 100 years old or more. Antiques are often highly collectible, valued for their rarity, age, and historical importance. For example, a hand-carved 1800s Nordic cabinet would be an antique.

Put simply: all antiques are old, but not all old items are antiques. Vintage pieces offer a wonderful balance — old enough to carry character and history, yet young enough to blend seamlessly with modern living.

  • If an item does not come in its original packaging, we make sure it is still presented beautifully and securely:

    • Smaller items will be placed in gift boxes, making them perfect for giving or for a thoughtful unboxing experience.
    • Larger or unique pieces will be wrapped in high-quality paper, finished with care for an elegant presentation.
    • Every item is carefully protected with the appropriate packing material to ensure it arrives safely at your door.
