Designed in the 1940s by Swedish sculptor Carl-Einar Borgström, the Guardian Angel from Skultuna was created as a protective symbol during difficult times. Borgström (1914–1981), trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, was known for his elegant and timeless designs, many of which were originally produced for the renowned Ystad Metall.

This piece, now crafted by Skultuna Brassworks, carries with it both history and meaning. With its simple, graceful form, the Guardian Angel stands as more than just a decorative object, it is a symbol of hope, care, and timeless Scandinavian design.
